DCA RaceFab would like to thank the Mid-American Stock Car Series for allowing the Tom McClintock Team to test our fabricated chassis during the 2009 season. Tom and his team used the springs, shocks, and sway bar from his stock metric framed Mid-Am car to compare the two cars. Tom was able to run the same setup on the fabricated car and thought the two cars had a similar feel. Because of some engine problems only four races were run, resulting in three 3rd place finishes and one 6th place finish.

DCA RaceFab has a fabricated metric frame available to replace the GM 78-88 midsize frames. It's been almost 20 years since GM discontinued production of the common and popular metric frame. We at DCA feel there will always be a need for a sportsman type racecar and have fabricated a frame to offer as a replacement.

We redesigned the front sub frame to provide more tie rod clearance and spring space. The front horns are easier to replace and the shape more resembles the stock frame. Other features include bolt on tail, mandrel bent side and rear rails, owner replaceable front horns and owner replaceable front sub frame.

We can also customize the frame to fit your series. Shock mounts, spring buckets, motor mounts, and A frame mounts are some of the things that we can change. Please call or email with any questions, comments, or ideas.
